As a passionate quilter with over 20 years of experience, I strive to create works of art that weave creativity into every stitch.

My journey into quilting started over 20 years ago after the death of my aunt. What began as a possibility, and something I had no clue what I was doing, eventually turned into a personal hobby, and very quickly evolved into a deep passion for crafting beautiful, functional pieces that connect with people on a deeper level. I started Quilchemy because I believe that quilting is not just about fabric and thread—it’s about creating something with intention, creativity and bringing joy and memories to life, and sharing the craft with others.

At Quilchemy, I value creativity, craftsmanship, sustainability, community, etc. Each quilt I create is a reflection of my love for this craft and my dedication to producing creative, handmade pieces. I also believe in supporting the quilting community, which is why I offer workshops and share my knowledge with fellow quilting enthusiasts. I am a member of the Triangle Modern Quilt Guild. I enjoy being part of a larger community of individuals who truly love the craft.

When I’m not quilting, you can find me scrolling social media for new quilting ideas or snuggling up with a cup of tea and a good book with my two Great Danes, Emma and Herman. I love bright and vibrant colored fabric, and I’m always on the lookout for new inspiration!
